Too bad she didn't sit in the 2nd chamber longer. In fact if I were that alien, I wouldn't even pull her out after calling herself my food. I would just let her digest in my 2nd and 3rd chambers.

The only thing that I disliked about the story was the implied innocence of the alien. I think the story would have been better ended with the alien looking through the bushes at another potential meal [girl] and then looking down at his feet, picking up another stick and saying something like "Hello old friend, once more unto the breach.." and then sticking it back down his throat and making choking noises.
